Western Innovation Forum 2022
The Western Innovation Forum (WIF) promotes western Canadian capabilities in the aerospace, marine and defence industries. The event connects innovators, companies and researchers with business and innovation-driven investment opportunities.
WIF 2022 took place March 2-4, and was a virtual event. There is no cost to register for this event.
Last year’s WIF 2021 was also held virtually. The event had over 460 registered participants, including 31 different prime defence contractors, and featured over 650 B2B meetings.
WIF 2022 featured:
- Presentations and panel discussions from industry and government leaders: These covered Western Canada’s innovative technologies and issues relevant to the defence industry.
- Our popular B2B meeting program: The WIF B2B meeting program included prime contractors, innovative western Canadian companies, post-secondary institutions, and relevant government representatives. To participate in the B2B program, you need to complete an organizational capability profile outlining what you have to offer to other participants and the types of partners you seek.
