How to apply
Governor in Council (GIC) opportunities may be advertised in a number of different ways:
- The GIC Appointments website
- The Canada Gazette
- Other additional media, as required
The notice of appointment opportunity will specify the deadline for application, that candidates must apply via the GIC Appointments website, to whom candidates should address their cover letter, and whether candidates must complete an application form as part of their application. Only online applications will be accepted.
Interested candidates should ensure that their application clearly outlines how their education, experience, knowledge and abilities meet the requirements of the position advertised. The cover letter, curriculum vitae and application form (if required) should also contain current coordinates. Incomplete applications will not be considered.
