VaccineConnect: IT system for managing vaccination rollout
The Public Health Agency of Canada has purchased an IT system called VaccineConnect to manage nationwide vaccination administration programs. This includes the COVID-19 vaccine rollout.
The system can connect federal, provincial and territorial digital networks to ensure public health can meet future challenges. It will manage vaccine:

- inventory
VaccineConnect works with provincial and territorial IT systems and processes. It provides information and support to provinces and territories for planning, management and reporting. Some of its features allow health care providers to:

- reporting
- track inventory and logistics in real time
The system also provides analytics to enhance population health management. This function will help public health decision makers in Canada plan for future epidemics and pandemics early on.
