Share your expertise: Stakeholder Survey on the Initiative to Take Action Against Gun and Gang Violence (ITAAGGV)

This annual survey collects information from stakeholders on activities under the Initiative To Take Action Against Gun and Gang Violence (ITAAGGV). The goal is to understand how the Initiative's funding and research efforts are impacting stakeholders' efforts to reduce gun and gang violence.
Who was the focus of this consultation
On an annual basis, Public Safety Canada seeks input from stakeholders involved in gun and gang initiatives across the country, from organizations such as:
- Federal, provincial, territorial, and municipal levels of government
- Law enforcement
- Non-governmental / community organizations
- Indigenous governments and communities
- Academics / universities
How to join: Participate in the next survey
To be added to the distribution list for the next survey, please contact the Policy and Program Development Initiatives team directly at: ganginitiatives-initiativescontrelesgangs@ps-sp.gc.ca. In your email, please include your organization's name and indicate your interest in participating in the survey. The annual survey is circulated to stakeholders between the months of March and June.

Ideas and input were sought on the following topics:
- Awareness of the Initiative to Take Action Against Gun and Gang Violence (ITAAGGV)
- Public Safety Canada resources
- Supports needed to improve intervention work
The input was gathered through this process and will be used to identify gaps, support future programming activities, and inform policy.
