Media Availability and Technical Briefing
Media advisory
On July 23, officials from the Government of Canada and the Province of Nova Scotia will host a technical briefing for media regarding a joint review of the April tragedy in Nova Scotia. The technical briefing will be for background information only and not for attribution.
Following the briefing, the Honourable Bill Blair, Canada’s Minister of Public Safety and Emergency Preparedness, and the Honourable Mark Furey, Attorney General and Minister of Justice for Nova Scotia, will hold a press conference and take questions.
1) Media Technical Briefing (not for attribution, via teleconference)
Time: 11:30 a.m. ADT (10:30 a.m. EDT)
Media who wish to participate by phone can dial-in using the numbers below. Media are encouraged to dial-in 15 minutes before the start of the technical briefing. Teleconference participants will be able to ask questions.
