Washington office
The Public Services and Procurement Canada (PSPC) Washington Office was established in 1951 and is located at the Embassy of Canada in Washington, D.C. It is the only Government of Canada accredited organization for defence-related end-to-end contractual arrangements in the United States (U.S.). The office represents PSPC in Washington to:
- act as the single window for Canadian purchases of defence articles, services and training from U.S. Department of Defence through the U.S. Foreign Military Sales
- support and assist specific business lines in their dealings with U.S. counterparts, such as the application of security safeguards in contracting processes and the management of public buildings
- support Canada's International Cooperation Initiative to facilitate the exchange of best practices and explore areas of common interest with its U.S. counterparts
- build and leverage relationships with the U.S. government, international counterparts and embassy partners to advocate on common issues and advance departmental files and governmental objectives
Geilenkirchen office
The PSPC office is co-located with the Canadian Forces Support Unit (Europe) in Geilenkirchen, Germany. The PSPC Geilenkirchen office supports Canadian Forces stationed in Europe and on deployed operations abroad with:
- procurement of goods and services
- post contract management
- project management
- crown assets disposal
