Alexandra Bridge - lane closures

GATINEAU, Quebec, July 11, 2016 – Public Services and Procurement Canada (PSPC) wishes to advise motorists, pedestrians and cyclists of periodic lane closures on the Alexandra Bridge on Tuesday, July 12, 2016, between 9 am and 3 pm. These closures will affect the Ottawa‑bound and Gatineau‑bound lanes, one lane at a time.
In case of inclement weather, the alternate work date is Wednesday, July 13, 2016, from 9 am to 3 pm.
The boardwalk may be partially reduced for temporary periods. Cyclists may be asked to walk their bicycles around the construction cones. Pedestrians and cyclists will need to exercise caution when crossing the boardwalk.
The lane closures are necessary to conduct general maintenance on the bridge.
