Timiskaming Quebec Dam - lane closure

For immediate release

GATINEAU, Quebec, November 21, 2016 – Public Services and Procurement Canada (PSPC) wishes to advise motorists of a lane closure on the Timiskaming Quebec dam from Tuesday, November 22, 2016, to Friday, November 25, 2016, between 7:30 am and 5 pm.

This lane closure is necessary to perform a general inspection of the dam.

The eastbound lane (from Thorne, Ontario, to Témiscaming, Quebec) will be closed. Flagpeople will be on site for the duration of the closure to ensure traffic can circulate in both directions.

Motorists and pedestrians should expect brief delays.

The schedule may change because of weather conditions.
