Lane closures on Des Allumettes Bridge

Gatineau, Quebec, July 26, 2017 — Public Services and Procurement Canada (PSPC) wishes to advise motorists of alternating lane closures on the Des Allumettes Bridge, connecting Pembroke, Ontario, and Isle-aux-Allumettes, Quebec.
On Thursday, July 27, between 9 am and 3 pm, only one lane will remain open for alternating traffic in both directions. Traffic control signage will be in place, and vehicular traffic will be controlled by flagpersons.
Motorists may encounter delays to accommodate the alternating lane closures.
In case of inclement weather, the closures will be postponed to a later date.
The lane closures are necessary to conduct general maintenance on the bridge.
