Extension to overnight closures of Burlington Canal Lift Bridge

For immediate release

Hamilton, Ontario, November 30, 2017 — Public Services and Procurement Canada (PSPC) wishes to advise users of complete overnight closures of the Burlington Canal Lift Bridge for repair work.

• From December 1 to 15, the bridge will be closed between 9 pm and 5 am, from Monday to Friday

During these periods, traffic control signage will be in place to direct users towards bypass road options.

The schedule may change depending on weather conditions.
