Lane reductions on Burlington Canal Lift Bridge

For immediate release

Hamilton, Ontario, November 21, 2017 — Public Services and Procurement Canada (PSPC) wishes to advise users of lane reductions on the Burlington Canal Lift Bridge for urgent repair work during the following period:

• Wednesday to Friday, November 22 to 24, from 9 am to 3 pm to minimize disruptions during the rush hour.

Motorists will experience lane closures in both directions. It is important to note that a lane will be open in both directions at all times and there will be no lane closures during peak times.

The bridge will remain open to cyclists and pedestrians as usual.

PSPC encourages users to exercise caution when travelling on the bridge and thanks them for their patience.
