Lane reductions on Burlington Canal Lift Bridge

For immediate release

Hamilton, Ontario, March 1, 2018 — Public Services and Procurement Canada (PSPC) wishes to advise users of lane reductions on the Burlington Canal Lift Bridge for repair work during the following periods:

• from Monday, March 5, to Thursday, March 8, from 9 am to 3 pm

During these periods, motorists will experience lane reductions in both directions. It is important to note that a lane will be open in both directions at all times. There will be no lane reductions during peak times in order to minimize disruptions.

The bridge will remain open to cyclists and pedestrians during the lane reduction periods.

The schedule may change due to weather conditions.

PSPC encourages users to exercise caution when travelling on the bridge and thanks them for their patience.
