Lane closures and boardwalk reductions on Alexandra Bridge

For immediate release

Gatineau, Quebec, April 27, 2018 – Public Services and Procurement Canada (PSPC) wishes to advise users that there will be lane closures and boardwalk reductions on the Alexandra Bridge for maintenance during the following periods:

Lane closures:

• Saturday, April 28, from 7:30 am to 7 pm: closure of the Ottawa-bound lane
• Sunday, April 29, from 7:30 am to 7 pm: closure of the Gatineau-bound lane

Boardwalk reductions:

• Saturday, April 28, and Sunday, April 29, from 7:30 am to 6 pm
• Monday, April 30, to Friday, May 4, from 7:30 am to 5 pm
• Saturday, May 5, and Sunday, May 6, from 7:30 am to 6 pm

During the boardwalk reduction periods, cyclists will have to get off their bicycles and walk when they enter reduced portions.

The schedule may change depending on weather conditions.

PSPC encourages users to exercise caution when travelling on the bridge and thanks them for their patience.
