Lane reductions on Burlington Canal Lift Bridge

For immediate release

Hamilton, Ontario, May 22, 2018 — Public Services and Procurement Canada (PSPC) wishes to advise motorists of lane reductions on the Burlington Canal Lift Bridge for repair work during the following period:

• Thursday, May 24, from 9 am to 3 pm

During this period, motorists will experience lane reductions in both directions. However, a lane will be open in both directions at all times. There will be no lane reductions during peak times in order to minimize disruptions. 

The bridge will remain open to cyclists and pedestrians during the lane reductions.

The schedule may change depending on weather conditions.
