Alexandra Bridge closures

For immediate release

Gatineau, Quebec, June 28, 2018 – Public Services and Procurement Canada (PSPC) wishes to advise users that there will be closures on Alexandra Bridge for the Canada Day celebrations during the following periods:

• Saturday, June 30, from 9 am to 9 pm: closure of the Ottawa-bound lane
• From Sunday, July 1, at 6 am, to Monday, July 2, at 2 am: bridge completely closed to motorists
• From Sunday, July 1, at 9 pm, to Monday, July 2, at 2 am: bridge completely closed to motorists, cyclists and pedestrians
• Tuesday, July 3, from 9 am to 3 pm: closure of the Ottawa-bound lane

During the Saturday lane reduction, the Ottawa-bound lane will be open to cyclists and pedestrians.

During the Sunday closure period, the Ottawa-bound lane will be open to cyclists and pedestrians until 9pm, and the Gatineau-bound lane will be reserved for emergency vehicles only.
