Update: Closure of the Alexandra Bridge to Vehicles

Ottawa, Ontario, May 5, 2020 – Following up on the May 1st closure of both traffic lanes of the Alexandra Bridge, Public Services and Procurement Canada (PSPC) announces that the bridge is anticipated to be closed to vehicles for inspection and repair work until May 24, 2020.

During this closure, contractors will be working on the bridge.

The boardwalk will remain accessible to pedestrians and cyclists.

Our priority is to ensure the safety of those who use the bridge, and PSPC thanks them for their patience.
