Burlington Canal Lift Bridge closed to motorists

For immediate release

Hamilton, Ontario, November 9, 2021 — Public Services and Procurement Canada (PSPC) wishes to advise motorists of the full closure of the Burlington Canal Lift Bridge for maintenance work during the following period:

• Thursday, November 11, from 7 am to 5 pm         

During this period, all lanes will be closed to vehicular traffic in both directions. The bridge will remain open to pedestrians, and marine traffic will not be affected.

PSPC encourages users to exercise caution when travelling on the bridge and thanks them for their patience.
