Alexandra Bridge closed to motorists

For immediate release

Gatineau, Quebec, November 4, 2022 – Public Services and Procurement Canada (PSPC) wishes to advise users that the Alexandra Bridge will be closed to motorists to accommodate repairs during the following periods:

• Wednesday, November 9, to Friday, November 11, from 9:30 am to 3 pm
• Saturday, November 12, to Sunday, November 13, from 7 am to 6 pm
• Monday, November 14, to Friday, November 18, from 9:30 am to 3 pm
• Saturday, November 19, to Sunday, November 20, from 7 am to 6 pm

No vehicular traffic will be permitted on the bridge during these periods, but the boardwalk will remain open to pedestrians and cyclists.

The schedule may change depending on weather conditions.

PSPC encourages users to exercise caution when travelling on the bridge and thanks them for their patience.
