Closure of Alexandra Bridge to motorists

Gatineau (Quebec), July 10, 2026 – Public Services and Procurement Canada (PSPC) wishes to advise users that the Alexandra Bridge will be closed to motorists to accommodate the March For Jesus during the following period:   

• Saturday, July 11, from 1:30 to 3:30 pm

During this period, the boardwalk will remain accessible to pedestrians and cyclists.

The schedule may change depending on weather conditions.

PSPC encourages users to exercise caution when travelling on the bridge and thanks them for their patience.
