CRTC recognized for the Let's Talk TV A Conversation with Canadians initiative

October 20, 2016 – Ottawa-Gatineau – Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission (CRTC)

At a ceremony that was held today in Ottawa, eight Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission (CRTC) employees received a Public Service Award of Excellence in the Excellence in Policy category, for their efforts to modernize the Canadian television system.

These employees distinguished themselves through their leadership and dedication in engaging and consulting more than 13,000 citizens and stakeholders in a number of innovative ways, including flash conferences, social media, an interactive “Choicebook” questionnaire and online discussion forums.

The CRTC congratulates all finalists and award recipients for their exceptional contribution to improving the lives of Canadians.
