Designated COVID-19 lockdown regions for the Canada Worker Lockdown Benefit
The CWLB closed for retroactive applications on May 19, 2022. You can no longer apply for this benefit. Your region may have been designated as a lockdown region if it was in lockdown, as defined in the Canada Worker Lockdown Benefit Act, for more than 7 consecutive days.
If you work in these regions, you may be eligible for the Canada Worker Lockdown Benefit (CWLB). Refer to the examples of eligibility to guide you.

The following regions were designated as lockdown regions under the Canada Worker Lockdown Benefit Act.
