To better serve Canadians, Shared Services Canada (SSC) works with federal departments to implement modern, secure and standardized digital solutions across the Government of Canada (GC) from coast to coast to coast. We equip government employees to collaborate with one another with secure and cost-efficient solutions.

Email and workplace technology tools

Through a secure and accessible GC-wide approach, we ensure GC employees have the digital tools they need to collaborate seamlessly from anywhere. These tools include desktops, laptops, tablets, accessories, printing products, imaging hardware, office suite software and technology support services. SSC continuously updates and improves these tools to meet the needs of federal organizations.

Telecommunications solutions

We provide federal organizations with modern, cost-effective and secure voice, mobile and telephony services. This includes secure access to mobile devices and Internet-based softphones that don’t require traditional phones or cellular plans. We make protecting information and data a priority through a GC-wide managed approach.

Conferencing and collaboration space solutions

To support collaboration across the GC, we deliver modern conferencing tools that are cost-effective, standardized and integrated across hybrid digital workspaces. Services include conferencing services for classified meetings.

Contact centre solutions

We ensure GC contact centres have the tools they need to effectively provide services to Canadians. Solutions include chat, email or videoconference capabilities; automatic call-back and self-service options; and improved accessibility features.
