Cybersecurity: Protecting Government IT Infrastructure

Cybersecurity is one of the fastest growing sectors in information technology, with significant career growth opportunities. We are looking for IT professionals to join our cybersecurity team and bring their experience, knowledge, and expertise to strengthen the security and integrity of enterprise information systems across federal departments.

If you have the talent, education and experience in maintaining and safeguarding IT infrastructure and applications, in protecting data and telecommunications networks, and/or in testing software and hardware, then we want to talk to you.

Our work

We safeguard the Government of Canada’s systems and networks, as well as Canadians’ information, from cyber threats.

Our team of cybersecurity specialists and network engineers are dedicated to building modern, reliable and secure IT systems to support the delivery of digital services to Canadians. Our team interacts and networks with other subject-matter experts and partners in the evolving world of cyber and IT security to:

  • Design, develop, test, implement and maintain complex IT and cybersecurity systems
  • Prevent cyber intrusions and malicious activities
  • Perform forensic investigations and analysis
  • Integrate user identification, credential and access management

We need experts in these areas to make our information systems even stronger and more secure.
