Integrate existing storage
Bring your own storage
The Federal Science DataHub (FSDH) allows users to connect existing storage accounts with their FSDH workspaces. This integration works with Azure Blob Storage, Amazon S3 and Google Cloud Storage.
Data visualization
The FSDH integrates with popular data visualization tools like Power BI and Tableau. This allows users to create interactive dashboards and reports from data in the FSDH.
Git repositories and code base
The FSDH allows users to connect Git repositories with workspaces. This integration works with GitHub, Azure DevOps, Bitbucket and GitLab, allowing the use of preferred version control systems with the FSDH.
FSDH users can also choose to share publicly available Git repositories in their workspaces with other researchers. This makes it easy to collaborate on code and data with colleagues across the government.
Publish to Open Government
Supporting the Directive on Open Government, the FSDH allows users to connect to the Government of Canada’s Open Government portal to publicly share data. This capability enables collaboration with external partners, ensures transparency of data and fulfills institutional requirements, such as publishing with some academic journals.
