Canadian astronaut David Saint-Jacques to go to the FIRST Québec robotics competition

Longueuil, Quebec, March 2, 2018 — On Saturday, March 3, from 10:00 am to 12:30 pm, Canadian Space Agency (CSA) astronaut David Saint-Jacques will be at the Claude Robillard Sports Complex for the FIRST Québec robotics competition to cheer on the 5000 or so young participants. The festival, now in its seventh year, is for young people aged 6 to 18.

The jury will be made up of four experts from the Canadian Space Agency. They will assess the projects from a technical and innovation standpoint, while taking into account the cooperation among the teams and the business plans.
