Opportunity to witness the launch of David Saint-Jacques' mission in Kazakhstan

Longueuil, Quebec, September 12, 2018 — On December 20, 2018 (local date in Baikonur), Canadian Space Agency (CSA) astronaut David Saint-Jacques will launch to the International Space Station (ISS) aboard a Soyuz rocket from the Baikonur Cosmodrome. Media representatives are invited to take part in pre-launch, launch and post-launch events in Baikonur, Kazakhstan.
Media representatives have until September 17 at 4:30 pm ET to contact the CSA's Media Relations team at asc.medias-media.csa@canada.ca to express their interest.
The number of places is limited, and participation is subject to obtaining accreditation and a visa. Media representatives must cover their own travel costs.
