Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island, April 24, 2019 – To mark Earth Day, Canadian Space Agency (CSA) astronaut David Saint-Jacques will answer the questions of students from Stonepark Intermediate School, the winner of a contest held in connection with the Exploring Earth activity.

Exploring Earth is an online activity for which David Saint-Jacques takes photos of Earth from the International Space Station. These photos are then georeferenced on an interactive world map and used to explain how our planet and our environment work.

Jeremy Hansen, CSA astronaut, will be facilitating the exchange between the students and the Space Station.

Media representatives who are unable to attend the event can watch it live (or watch the video afterwards) on the CSA's YouTube channel.
