Media advisory

Fredericton, New Brunswick, – On , during the Canada-Wide Science Fair, astronaut David Saint-Jacques, live from space, will announce the big winners of the Little Inventors: Inventions for Space contest. He will also take some time to talk to the winners and the Science Fair finalists.

The Canadian Space Agency (CSA) collaborated with the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council to challenge children across the country to come up with ingenious ideas that could be developed into inventions to make life in space easier and more fun. The best ideas were turned into real objects by artisans, and those inventions will be presented during the finale of the Canada-Wide Science Fair.

Media are invited to register at the media booth on the fourth floor of the Richard J. Currie Center.

Those who are unable to attend the event can watch it live (or watch the video afterwards) on the CSA's YouTube channel.
