Media advisory
Longueuil, Quebec, July 17, 2019 — On July 20, 2019, 50 years after the first historic steps on the Moon, Canadian Space Agency (CSA) astronauts David Saint-Jacques (at the Montreal Science Centre) and Robert Thirsk (at the Ontario Science Centre) will connect by video link to discuss the proud history and unfolding future of human space exploration. The discussion between David Saint-Jacques and Robert Thirsk will be broadcast at four other events in Canada, each hosted by a CSA astronaut.
David Saint-Jacques will talk about the highlights of his mission and will answer questions from the audience, including some from those watching at events across Canada.
Media are invited to go to these events. Those who are unable to attend can watch the live stream (or watch the video afterwards) on the CSA's YouTube channel.
Discussions will be held in English and French.
