OSIRIS-REx: Media invited to NASA activities surrounding asteroid Bennu sample return

Longueuil, Quebec, — On , NASA's OSIRIS-REx mission is expected to deliver a sample from asteroid Bennu to Earth. This is Canada's first participation in such a mission.

Thanks to the Canadian Space Agency's contribution of the OSIRIS-REx Laser Altimeter (OLA), Canada will get a portion of the sample for study, thus becoming the fifth country in the world to ever receive extraterrestrial material.

NASA is inviting media to take part in events surrounding the asteroid Bennu sample return. Media accreditation is required for the following events:
