Women in the space sector: United Nations and Canada to host international meeting

Longueuil, Quebec,  - From to , the United Nations Office for Outer Space Affairs and the Canadian Space Agency (CSA) will be cohosting the fourth Space4Women expert meeting, which aims to promote and advance gender equality in the space sector.

On , the CSA will be hosting a panel featuring four experts in the global space community to discuss the highlights from the week's meetings. They will outline actions that can be taken to encourage women and girls to pursue scientific and technical fields. CSA President, Lisa Campbell, will deliver a speech before the panel.

Members of the media are invited to attend the expert panel. Please confirm your attendance before , with the Media Relations Office (asc.medias-media.csa@asc-csa.gc.ca). The panel members and CSA representatives will be available for interviews.
