Minister Garneau announces the appointment of the Chairperson and Vice-Chairperson of the Transportation Appeal Tribunal of Canada

The Honourable Marc Garneau, Minister of Transport, today announced the appointment of Mr. Charles Stanley Sullivan as Chairperson of the Transportation Appeal Tribunal of Canada and Ms. Jacqueline Corado as Vice-Chairperson. Both are appointed for four-year terms.

Mr. Sullivan’s career includes 39 years in aviation, aerospace, public safety and security. Ms. Corado is a lawyer and she specializes in administrative law.

The appointees are active members of their communities and bring a wide array of knowledge and experience to the transportation portfolio.

These appointments are part of the rigorous approach to Governor-in-Council appointments. The approach uses open, transparent and merit-based selection processes to support ministers in making appointment recommendations for positions within their portfolio that strive for gender parity and reflect Canada’s diversity.
