Minister Alghabra and Member of Parliament Sean Casey to make an announcement on supporting tourism in Prince Edward Island at the Port of Charlottetown

CHARLOTTETOWN, PRINCE EDWARD ISLAND — The Minister of Transport, the Honourable Omar Alghabra, and the Member of Parliament for Charlottetown, Mr. Sean Casey will make an announcement about supporting Prince Edward Island’s tourism economy at the Port of Charlottetown.

They will be available to answer questions from the media following the announcement.

In line with the Public Health Agency of Canada and PEI Public Health’s recommendations, in-person attendance will be monitored by Transport Canada. Wearing a face cover is highly recommended even when fully vaccinated.

We ask for people who have recently received a positive diagnosis for COVID-19, or are awaiting test results, or who have been exposed to COVID-19, or are experiencing symptoms as described on Health Canada's website, to not to attend.
