Minister Alghabra and Parliamentary Secretary Kusmierczyk to make an announcement on passenger rail services in Windsor

Windsor, Ontario – The Minister of Transport, the Honourable Omar Alghabra and the Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Employment, Workforce Development and Disability Inclusion and Member of Parliament for Windsor—Tecumseh, Irek Kusmierczyk will make an announcement on passenger rail services in Southwestern Ontario.

They will all be available to answer questions from the media following the announcement.

In line with the Public Health Agency of Canada and Public Health Ontario recommendations, in-person attendance will be controlled by Transport Canada. Official photo identification must be presented at registration.Wearing a face cover is mandatory.

We ask people who have recently received a positive diagnosis for COVID-19, or are awaiting test results, or who have been exposed to COVID-19, or are experiencing symptoms as described on Health Canada's website, not to attend.
