Minister Alghabra, Minister Rodriguez, Parliamentary Secretary Martinez Ferrada and Mayor Plante to make an announcement on High Frequency Rail in Montreal

Montréal, Quebec — Minister of Transport, the Honourable Omar Alghabra, the Leader of the Government in the House of Commons, the Honorable Pablo Rodriguez, Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Transport, Ms. Soraya Martinez Ferrada, Mayor of Montreal, Valérie Plante, and Chief Executive Officer of Via Rail, Cynthia Garneau, will make an announcement on High Frequency Rail in Montreal.

They will be available to answer questions from the media following the announcement.

In line with the Public Health Agency of Canada and Quebec Public Health’s recommendations, in-person attendance will be controlled by Transport Canada. Official photo identification must be presented at registration. Wearing a face cover is mandatory.
