Borden-Carleton, Prince Edward Island — Members of Parliament for Malpeque, the Honourable Wayne Easter, for Charlottetown, Sean Casey, and for Egmont, Robert J. Morrissey, will make an announcement on behalf of the Minister of Transport, the Honourable Omar Alghabra, about providing financial support to Strait Crossing Bridge Limited, the Confederation Bridge operator.

They will be available to answer questions from the media following the announcement.

In line with the Public Health Agency of Canada and PEI Public Health’s recommendations, in-person attendance will be monitored by Transport Canada. Wearing a face cover is highly recommended even when fully vaccinated.

We ask for people who have recently received a positive diagnosis for COVID-19, or are awaiting test results, or who have been exposed to COVID-19, or are experiencing symptoms as described on Health Canada's website, to not to attend.
