Government of Canada to make an important announcement about supply chain improvements in New Brunswick

Saint John, New Brunswick – The Minister of Transport, the Honourable Omar Alghabra, the Member of Parliament for Saint John—Rothesay, Mr. Wayne Long, the Minister of Economic Development and Small Business and Minister responsible for Opportunities New Brunswick, the Honourable Arlene Dunn, the Chief Executive Officer of the Saint John Port Authority, Mr. Craig Bell Estabrooks, and the co-Chief Executive Officer of J.D. Irving, Limited, Mr. James D. Irving, will announce new funding for the port of Saint John and for the railway system in New Brunswick.

Minister Alghabra, M.P. Long, Minister Dunn, Mr. Bell Estabrooks, and Mr. Irving, will be available to answer questions from the media following the announcement.

In line with the Public Health Agency of Canada, in-person attendance will be monitored. Wearing a face covering and physical distancing are highly recommended.
