Minister of Transport and local MPs to provide details on the Government of Canada’s commitment to eliminating interest on federal student and apprentice loans

CAMBRIDGE, ONTARIO – The Minister of Transport, the Honourable Omar Alghabra, will provide details on how the 2022 Fall Economic Statement will eliminate interest on federal student and apprentice loans. Minister Alghabra will be joined by the Honourable Bardish Chagger, Member of Parliament for Waterloo, Valerie Bradford, Member of Parliament for Kitchener South–Hespeler, and Tim Louis, Member of Parliament for Kitchener–Conestoga.

They will be available to answer questions from the media following the announcement.
