Government of Canada to announce funding to increase cargo capacity at Winnipeg Richardson International Airport

Winnipeg – The Minister of Northern Affairs, Dan Vandal, on behalf of the Minister of Transport, Pablo Rodriguez, will make an important funding announcement related to supply chains and improving cargo capacity at Winnipeg Richardson International Airport. Minister Vandal will be joined by Ben Carr, the Member of Parliament for Winnipeg South Centre, and Nick Hays, the President and Chief Executive Officer of the Winnipeg Airports Authority.

Media will have an opportunity to ask questions following the announcement.
