Investigation report: collision with terrain

Edmonton, Alberta, 16 December 2019 — Today, the Transportation Safety Board of Canada (TSB) released its investigation report (A19W0063) on the 27 May 2019 collision with terrain of a Cessna 170B near Erik Nielsen Whitehorse International Airport, Yukon.

The TSB conducted a limited-scope, fact-gathering investigation into this occurrence to advance transportation safety through greater awareness of potential safety issues.
