Investigation report: August 2019 crossing collision

Winnipeg, Manitoba, 7 January 2020 — Today, the Transportation Safety Board of Canada (TSB) released its investigation report (R19W0236) into the 8 August 2019 railway crossing collision of a City of Kenora transit bus with a Canadian Pacific Railway (CP) freight train in Kenora, Ontario.
The TSB conducted a limited-scope, fact-gathering investigation into this occurrence to advance transportation safety through greater awareness of potential safety issues.
