Investigation report: July 2019 fatal collision with terrain south of Chibougamau, Quebec

Dorval, Quebec, 11 March 2020 — Today, the Transportation Safety Board of Canada (TSB) released its investigation report (A19Q0107) on the 12 July 2019 fatal collision with terrain of a de Havilland DHC-2 (Beaver) float plane south of Chibougamau, Quebec.

The TSB conducted a limited-scope, fact-gathering investigation into this occurrence to advance transportation safety through greater awareness of potential safety issues.
