Senate ceremony launches Veterans' Week 2016

Ottawa — The Government of Canada marks the beginning of Veterans’ Week 2016. This annual commemorative ceremony in the Senate Chamber invites Veterans and currently serving Canadian Armed Forces personnel to help with the official launch of this important week. It’s a special time for Canadians of all ages to come together and honour all those who have served and those who continue to serve today to make this world a safer place.
