Ceremony to commemorate Korean War Armistice and Canadian naval involvement in Korean War

Burlington, ON – Pam Damoff, Member of Parliament for Oakville North – Burlington, on behalf of the Honourable Seamus O’Regan, Minister of Veterans Affairs and Associate Minister of National Defence, will join the Honourable Yonah Martin, Senator for British Columbia, Ken Griffith, President of the Korea Veterans Association of Canada, Unit 26 Hamilton and other officials in commemorating the 65th anniversary of the Korean War Armistice and the contributions and sacrifices of the Royal Canadian Navy during the conflict. The ceremony and wreath laying will be held at the Korean War Royal Canadian Navy Destroyers Monument.
