Annual remembrance ceremony at the Beaumont-Hamel Newfoundland Memorial

Beaumont-Hamel, France – The public and the media are invited to attend a Remembrance Day ceremony hosted by Veterans Affairs Canada’s student guides at the Beaumont-Hamel Newfoundland Memorial near the village of Albert, in the Somme region of France.

The Canadian student guides will be joined by members of the Royal Newfoundland Regiment and the public to honour and remember the Newfoundlanders and Canadians who served during the First World War and all those who have served and sacrificed for freedom.
