Minister MacAulay to join students in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia to make Valentines for Vets

Dartmouth, NS – The Honourable Lawrence MacAulay, Minister of Veterans Affairs and Associate Minister of National Defence will join fourth and fifth grade students at Crichton Park Elementary as they make valentines for Veterans living in long-term care facilities. There will be a photo opportunity during the visit.

The Valentines for Vets program helps us thank our Veterans, not only on Remembrance Day but throughout the year. It is also an opportunity to teach students about the accomplishments and sacrifices of our Veterans and give them a greater understanding of Canada's proud military history.
