Minister MacAulay to participate in virtual ceremony to mark  75^th anniversary of the Liberation of the Netherlands and V-E day

Ottawa, ON –  On 8 May 2020, the Honourable Lawrence MacAulay Minister of Veterans Affairs and Associate Minister of National Defence will participate in a virtual ceremony to mark the 75^th anniversary of the Liberation of the Netherlands and V-E Day, that will be broadcast through the Canada Remembers Facebook page.

The ceremony will pay tribute to the sacrifices and brave efforts of Canadians who fought to defend the values that we hold dear: peace, democracy, the rule of law and human rights.
