Minister Joly to speak at the Western Innovation Forum in Vancouver

Vancouver, British Columbia, March 4, 2020 —The Honourable Mélanie Joly, MP for Ahuntsic-Cartierville, Minister of Economic Development and Official Languages, and Minister responsible for Western Economic Diversification Canada, will provide opening remarks at the 2020 Western Innovation Forum (WIF). The event promotes western Canadian capabilities in the aerospace, marine, and defence industries. WIF focuses on connecting innovators, companies and researchers with opportunities for innovation-driven investment and business growth.

Following her remarks, Minister Joly will be available to answer questions from the media.
