Government of Canada announces major infrastructure investment to Leduc-Nisku Region

Edmonton, Alberta, June 25, 2021 – Terry Duguid, Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Economic Development and Official Languages (Western Economic Diversification Canada) and to the Minister of Environment and Climate Change (Canada Water Agency), on behalf of the Honourable Mélanie Joly, Minister of Economic Development and Official Languages, and Minister responsible for Western Economic Diversification Canada, will announce a major infrastructure investment to create jobs and growth while supporting a clean energy economy in Leduc County.

Joining Parliamentary Secretary Terry Duguid will be Tanni Doblanko, Mayor of Leduc County. Both will be available to answer media questions following the announcement.
