Surrey, British Columbia – August 4, 2021 – The Honourable Mélanie Joly, Minister of Economic Development and Official Languages and Minister responsible for Western Economic Diversification Canada, and Terry Beech, Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Fisheries, Oceans and the Canadian Coast Guard and Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Economic Development and Official Languages (B.C.), will provide details of the new BC-focused regional development agency announced in Budget 2021.
